CONGRATULATIONS MIDGET CHEERLEADING SQUAD
REGIONAL CHAMPIONS
Sakonnet Schooner Midget Cheerleaders have captured New England Regional Championship title. They captured this title November 19th, 2011 at the DCU center in Worchester, MA. This is the first time in Schooner history. They will be competing in the National Pop Warner Cheerleading competition at Disney in Orlando, Florida on December 9th, 2011. The entire squad and coaches have worked extremely hard this year, surpassing several other squads at the qualifiers, state and regional levels. The cheerleaders in our program are from Tiverton, Westport, Little Compton & Fall River. A special congratulations also go out to the Jr Pee Wee and Jr Midget squads and coaches, who also worked extremely hard this season and both made it to the regional level.
We are now Florida bound and we need everyone’s help to raise funds to get the girls to Florida to compete at the National level!! The following fundraisers are planned to help our Champions compete…One Heart One Team Outstanding No Less
We will be hosting a spaghetti dinner on November 30th, 2011 at Little Bear in Tiverton, RI. 5pm to 7p. Join us for good food and good times!!
At the dinner we will also conduct a 50/50 raffle and themed basket raffle.

Join us for a bake sale and purchase delicious homemade pastries!!! The cheerleaders will be at Lee’s Market in Westport at 10 am on Saturday December 3rd, 2011. Please support your local sports!!
Our cheerleaders will also continue to participate in “Tag Days”. they will be collecting donations to help send them to Disney to compete. Locations and times are as follows:
